SOS is a great craft beer taproom with a handful of options. What is lacking in beer choices, they make up for in charm and vibe. This is the kind of place that makes you feel comfortable and could spend a long time here. I had a pint of Stone Neverending Haze IPA and it was so good, on this hot Bangkok afternoon - I had a second one.
The Stone Neverending Haze IPA - is hazy orange and is a smooth IPA with solid foam and tropical flavors. Stone Brewing have produced a unique IPA with a lot of flavor intensity… especially for a 4%. Stone IPA is one of the very first and most popular West Coast style IPAs in the world and, truth be told, they are the IPA specialists!

The 14th Barrel
MY visit to the 14th Barrel was good. The 14th Barrel is essentially a cosy Thai restaurant with a selection of craft beers in the fridge. If you are a passionate craft beer disciple… this pub is not worth the effort. However, if you are someone seeking a cool spot for a meal, a few beers and to kick back… then this will meet your needs. I drank the Damaged Romance, as my MO was to sample a local craft beer and the Damaged Romance slapped my in the face… coffee and cacao is not what I am wanting to taste (read taste… not hints) when and Indian Pale Ale. The best two features of this beer were the name and label design.
