The Drums

Album Of The Week

The Drums - Brutalism

Brutalism is the second Drums album with Pierce as the sole member and the sixth Drums album. The Drums are catchy and know how to use the bass to drive a tune and this latest album is no exception. Brutalism is a nine-track 35min odyssey of lofty vocals, rhythmic and just-there less-is-more electric guitars and solid hooks. Pierce has plenty of material and a greta band to also put on great show - if you get a chance see The Drums live. Brutalism is a wonderful unique pop album that provides lyrical themes of highs n lows and honesty and vulnerability both in content and delivery.

The Drums’ Brutalism provides a powerful, catchy, unique and dynamics bunch of tunes and well worth a listen.
