About St Hallett
St Hallett was established in 1944 by the Lindner Family in the Barossa and ha grown to become one of Australia’s most respected wine brands. The pioneering Lindner Family arrived in the Barossa in 1838 and worked hard to make a meagre living by producing ports and sherries and marsala in their galvo shed in the middle of the Barossa. St Hallett understood the importance of saving old vines and placed an emphasis on varieties that thrive in the Barossa region – particularly Shiraz. Over the years, St Hallett has built up a deep understanding of their place in the Barossa, and with this, an appreciation for and understanding of local growers and the finest vines and highest-quality grapes the Barossa can offer. The St Hallett winemaking team reveal the rich textures, depth and diversity of Barossa wine, as it should be and produce quality wines.
