MALT Pub ~ Chiang Mai, Thailand ★★★★★

Chill out at the coolest outdoor pub at Chiang Mai’s trendy Nimmanhamin’s THINK PARK and enjoy local bands playing live music whilst knocking back a drink or two.

MALT is my go to place whenever I visit Chiang Mai, Thailand because it has all the elements my soul needs: live music, good music, local music, outdoor setting, people watching, food markets nearby for snacks, whiskey, cocktails, craft beer and when the EPL is on - there’s a TV! I usually arrive after dinner and take up a table and order a small bottle of whiskey, with mixers and hang here until closing time. In between sets I play on my phone, thumb through a magazine that I just bought from The Booksmith and 50% of the time, before I know it. I’ll have found someone to chat with (solo travelers and digital nomads know what I’m talking about!). MALT is located at THINK PARK with is a modern rustic market area opposite MAYA Shopping Mall and the area is loaded with cafes, shops, restaurants and people. MALT is ★★★★★
